Scare Away Hunger –The autumn family-friendly 5k Run/Walk in Downtown Rochester!


Join your friends and neighbors to celebrate autumn and put HUNGER ON THE RUN!!

Register to run or walk in the 5k race and attend the family event in downtown Rochester. The event location will take place at the Farmer’s Market parking lot on East Third Street Rochester, MI 48307.  Proceeds will benefit Neighborhood House which provides food, clothing and emergency financial assistance to neighbors in need from Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township and Addison Township.

Online Registration Closes at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 23rd

Check in the day before the race and avoid the line at Registration!!  Packet pick-up, advance registration and check in will take place at Hanson’s Running Store located on Hall Road in Shelby Township on Saturday, October 25th from 10:00a.m. to 12:30 p.m.   Anyone checking in, or pre-registering for SAH will receive a 20% discount on the total purchase that day only at the Hanson’s in Shelby Township.

 5k run/walk (includes event t-shirt):

  • Check-in starts: 1:30 pm
  • Race Starts:3:00 pm
  • Open to all ages and abilities
